Reviews

This release is so new and exceptional that we have not yet sent the wine off for review!!

Below are some of the reviews and awards received for our Clasic Cuvée 2014 not aged on lees for as long. Sufficient to say for now that the Long Aged on lees is an even more fullsome, rich wine with huge fruit flavours.

Fiona Beckett

Paola Giraldo
Wiltons
Paola described this Gold winner "Elegant on the nose and perfumed, rich and intense on the palate"
Raphael Thierry
Street XO
Raphael liked its "toasted almonds on the nose, and a creamy palate with melon, peach, ripe citrus and some autolytic complexity"
Roberto Sanchez
Sexy Fish
"Pear and apple on the nose, leading to a really well-balanced palate that’s intense, fresh and vibrant - a good match for either salads or sushi"
Terry Kirby
Merry England, The Independent
"Over in Enborne in Berkshire, the All Angels vineyard is named after the local 12th-century parish church of St Michael and All Angels and based on a historic house and estate.
Their wines are also made at Hattingly, but reflect the individual flavour of the vineyards, by adding a little pinot gris – which can work very well in England for still wines – to the traditional varieties for their Classic Cuvee 2014 which delivers just enough weight and complexity to round out the vibrant lemony, slightly nutty flavours."
