REVIEWS
Decanter Magazine 92pts - Sylvia Wu, Best English wines to try this Autumn
"As the name suggests, the 'Long-Aged' Classic Cuvée was aged on lees for over six years. A richly yeasty nose of creamy brioche, bruised red apple and blood orange, leads to great depth on the buttery palate. Plenty of ripe yellow fruits are elevated by crisp citrus acidity. A touch of dried apricot lingers on the long finish."
Great British Wine - John Mobbs, Founder
"This is a rather special long lees aged wine (6.5 years version of the first vintage of All Angels Classic Cuvée 2014), and what an introduction it was!
The nose is refined and composed, initially intriguing with nutty, toasty complexity, clean orchard fruit, lemon zest and a definite mineral note.
The palate is refreshingly bright and brisk; crunchy orchard fruit and zesty citrus fruit combine well, and the promised autolytic complexity helps to season and complement, rather than dominate, the flavour profile. There are some creamy suggestions and perhaps even peachy notes, but this wine remains youthful and zippy.
What I really enjoyed was the yeasty, slightly salty, nutty finish. It’s very accomplished and leaves a real, lasting impression."

NOTES FROM THE VINEYARD:
2014 was an excellent growing year. Bud burst was mid-April and there was little frost to cause damage, followed by near perfect weather at all critical stages. This led to a bumper harvest of outstanding quality fruit and a wine perfectly balanced with delicious fruit, refreshing acidity and a great ability to age beautifully.
