It's official, our 2019 Classic Cuvée has made the Golden 50, a celebration of the top UK medal winning wines as judged by WineGB and Vineyard Magazine.
We are yet again humbled by the quality and recognition our 2019 vintage is receiving.
The Golden 50 showcases the exceptional quality, diversity and growing international recognition of English and Welsh wine. It celebrates the remarkable breadth of quality being produced by vineyards across England and Wales. The final list features 13 still wines and 37 sparkling wines from producers spanning 19 counties, from Cornwall to Staffordshire and Kent to Herefordshire.
Judged by WineGB and Vineyard Magazine, wines included in the list have won the top accolades (gold or platinum) across 10 national and international competitions. To be considered for this prestigious award, a wine will have been awarded Gold or higher at some point during the year.
This year’s Golden 50 was selected from over 30 English and Welsh wines that won gold or platinum awards in 2026 across the following leading competitions, being: WineGB Awards, the Welsh Wine Awards, Decanter World Wine Awards, International Wine Challenge (IWC), International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), The Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships, Global Masters, Sommelier Wine Awards, London Wine Competition and the Sommeliers Choice Awards.
