Pre-Christmas Events with All Angels - Limited Numbers,

Unlimited Bubbles (well almost unlimited)

Harvest is almost upon us as I write this and as soon as that starts, it will be all consuming.  So before that happens we thought we'd give you dates & details of the events we have planned for the rest of the year so you have plenty of time to check your diaries - and those of your friends - and lock them in.  As always, these events will all be held in our Tasting Barn at Church Farm.  Something to look forward to now "the nights are drawing in" as my Grandfather would say.

Please do email us on info@allangels.com as soon as you can with how many places you would like for these events as each will be limited to just 20 guests and we had to disappoint a lot of people last year.

Dates:

22nd October - Classic Cuvée 2015 Launch Dinner

12th November - Harvest Supper Five Course Tasting Menu

2nd December - Luxury Christmas Wreath Making & Fizz Lunch

17th December - Christmas Supper Extravaganza at All Angels

Classic Cuvée 2015 Launch Dinner – Saturday, 22nd October @ 7-00pm, price £100 pp, to include all wines and refreshments

You may have seen on our social media that we have a great new wine to release this Autumn.

Our new Classic Cuvée 2015 will formally be released to the trade and press on 25th October but we are giving you the chance to learn about it and sample it first at this three-course dinner catered for by fine dining chef, Jane Staunton.  It has been shown to a limited number of professionals so far and is already receiving considerable acclaim:

"A thoroughly excellent wine - and enjoyed by all...the lees integration and complexity were wonderful"
it’s a delicious wine – this could be a turning point for Berkshire and the UK for sure.
a beautiful golden lemon colour with lots of ripe orchard fruits, as well as hawthorn, acacia and blossoms.  I love that subtle hint of minerality.
the wine is clean and fresh with an acidity that isn’t going to make you wince but actually serves a purpose of giving the wine a lively character and an almost playful nature.

Join us as we taste the new release while reflecting on 2015 as a growing year and our choices in blending and developing the wine as well as some pairing suggestions before settling down to Jane’s wonderful fare and a glass of wine with each course.

Harvest Supper Five Course Tasting Menu – Saturday, 12th November @ 7-00pm, price £150 pp, to include all wines and refreshments
Our ever-popular Harvest Supper will be held on 12th November this year.  While you sample some of our Vintage English Sparkling Wines, we will talk about the growing year, the successes, the hiccups, our aims for wines from 2022 (there may be some change in tack this year) and our objectives for 2023.
We know how disappointed many of you were when Henry & Joe’s closed down in August but we’re thrilled to say we’ve persuaded Henry to come along and provide us with a five-course tasting menu for this event – who knows, we may even see if we can persuade Joe out on a November night…

Luxury Christmas Wreath Making & Fizz Lunch – Friday, 2nd December, price £150 pp
Less than 100 days to Christmas, as someone pointed out to us last week.  This is the chance to make your own luxury Christmas Wreath while mixing with new and old friends all under the expert guidance of Alicia from the Wessex Flower Company - www.wessexflowercompany.co.uk.  All you need for your wreath will be provided and after the morning session you’ll be treated to lunch catered for by Jane Staunton fine dining and a few glasses of All Angels along the way as well, of course.

Christmas Supper Extravaganza at All Angels – Saturday, 17th December @ 7-00pm, £175 pp
Our last event of the year will be a five-course Christmas tasting sensation from Henry: a final chance this year to get more of his amazing fare in our Tasting Barn and maybe catch up with friends before settling down to Christmas with the family.
There will be festive fizz of course, and likely a few carols in the background as well as some festive surprises. We’ll remember to put some crackers out to make sure this goes with a mix of cork pops and bangs and we'll even organise your local transport so you don't have to worry about bumping into Rudolf on the way home.

If you'd like more information on any of these, please email on info@allangels.com - but don't hang around as we expect these to get booked up quickly.

Our best wishes,

Mark
