We are launching No. 36: our newest sparkling wine from our All Angels grapes grown in Berkshire, created for everyday enjoyment and with food in mind, not just for celebrations...
We are incredibly excited at All Angels to have launched our new sparkling wine, No. 36, this week. Made with the same grapes as Champagne (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier), maintaining the Brut dry quality, it has gentler bubbles and softer acidity that results in a wine that complements rather than competes with your meal.
This is the bottle you always want to have chilling in the fridge, whether you are hanging out with friends mid-week, enjoying Friday Fizz, need a little something different with a Sunday roast chicken or celebrating that special occasion.

What makes No. 36 different from other Sparkling Wines?
Have you ever found Champagne / other traditional method sparkling wines to have a rather grandiose aura that you secretly worry about? When to drink it, whether it will be appreciated by everyone, whether it fits in or is 'too much' when everyone is really focusing on the party?
Well, No. 36 has been made to be that easily approachable sparkling wine, bringing you a mouthwatering, moreish sparkle that you don’t need to be an expert to enjoy, and at a price you will enjoy.
What can it be paired with?
No. 36 is a wine that pairs beautifully at a dinner party with a wide variety of foods, as it is slightly less fizzy than traditional sparkling wines. It is particularly well-suited to fish, chicken and light poultry. It also partners perfectly with scallops, shellfish, oysters, sushi and sashimi, not forgetting soft cheese like Brie and Camembert.
You can celebrate every day without worry - don’t be afraid to crack open a bottle as an aperitif and continue drinking it throughout your meal.

That’s not to say you can’t enjoy other All Angels sparkling wines throughout a meal and they are perfect for cocktail parties as well, with their vigorous, long-lasting bubbles. No.36 is simply a gentle introduction, designed with every course in mind.
Hear what others have to say about No. 36...
We continue to partner with MasterChef Champion and judge Thomas Frake, who runs The Silks at Ogbourne St Andrew, not far from us near Marlborough. When we took a bottle over a couple of weeks ago we were truly humbled by his response:
“An English wine of exceptional winemaking quality, and like all of their classic vintages, it is long aged on lees to guarantee that signature All Angels depth of flavour; rich in yeasted, warm and buttery croissants.
Where No. 36 differs from its predecessors, is the notable reduction in both fizz and fervour. The bubbles are slight, making for a far more digestible accompaniment to food. Whilst proudly popping the cork on any bottle of All Angels perfectly marks the moment, it's only No.36 that can then effortlessly accompany you through an entire meal.
So certainly raise a glass of No. 36 to toast your celebrations, but then comfortably indulge yourself in the entire bottle.”

We also gave a couple of bottles to Master of Wine and Christie's wine expert, Tim Triptree, who was equally impressed.
“It’s a very good English sparkling wine. I like the texture of the mousse and softness of the fizz. It’s not too aggressive and the aromas are subtle … refreshing and vibrant, with citrus and apple flavours.”
No. 36 - a limited edition...
No. 36 launched on 10th November 2025 with a limited production run of only 8,000 bottles and it is already proving to be a popular choice and a great introduction to our range and an introduction to English Sparkling wine in general.
No need to wait for a celebration any more, discover for yourself! It is available to purchase at - you guessed it - £36 a bottle online, directly from us, along with our other award-winning Classic Cuvées and Sparkling Rosés.
How it came to life
The idea for No. 36 came in 2018, a great vintage year that delivered exceptional fruit and gave us the opportunity to experiment. We tweaked our usual blend by taking out the Pinot Gris and the secondary fermentation process was slightly shorter, whilst keeping our signature extended lees ageing (6 years, well above industry standard).
The name No. 36 is a reference to Elgar’s Opus 36, aka Variations on an Original Theme, a nod to this being our own variation on an original theme of All Angels Classic Cuvée.
